| Neighbor: Christian Encounters with "Illegal" Immigration |
|
Ben Daniel, a Presbyterian minister from California, offers up a perspective on immigration issues that doesn't settle for the political solutions. In Neighbor, Daniel sets out across the southwest border of the United States looking for ways the gospel message of welcoming the stranger is being practiced. Among the many folks interviewed (a congressperson, a judge) are several folks from Frontera de Cristo and the Migrant Resource Center. This book is a very readable overview of a number of topics related to immigration, immigration policy, and faith. |
