ABIQUIU, NM - Mark Adams and Miriam Maldonado from Frontera de Cristo will join Julia Thorn, an immigration lawyer from the Presbyterian Church (USA) and coordinator Jane Hanna in leading a conference on how to respond to the current immigration crisis from a faith perspective. As momentum builds to reform U.S. immigration, our voice as informed faith communities advocating just policies and practices is the challenge we face. Learning about the newcomers in our communities and how to create environments to serve everyone follows a biblical mandate to be church together.
